Faith for the struggle

There is so much discussion and debate about releasing and letting stuff go. I remember a time when I thought I’d never be able to be close with my mother again. I literally said I don’t think that’ll ever happen. The problem was not that it was impossible but that I didn’t know how to let the pain go. That’s what most of us struggle with: No one wants to be in pain, we just don’t know how to let it go. Ask the Lord how you can let the pain go. He will tell you. He will give you a plan...His plan. He is faithful that way. I walked out the plan He gave me. My relationship with my mother is even stronger than it was before. He restored it to better, not back to the way it was...but better. In the time of you walking through the process He will not only increase your faith but He will give you evidence of How faithful He is. Begin asking, then walk out what He said to do. Trust Him to be faithful.
