Aren’t you thankful for community? People who you can share and do life with...people you can just unfold with, sit with, cry with and just be yourself?! I am thankful, more than anything, that God answered my prayer for true acceptance in relationship. We are looking to feel safe. Some of us more than others, but we are ALL, definitely, without a doubt, looking to feel safe in relationships which is nothing but being accepted for who you are. I made a list some years ago called a “Bucket List”, but it was actually a prayer list of things I was believing God for. One of those things was for a strong spiritual best friend. God answered that prayer. But He gave me not just one safe place of acceptance, but many rooms of safety. I prayed for one, and He gave me several. Isn’t God like that?! You ask for one and He will take that expectation and multiply it. How good, how great is our God?! God is a giver of many blessings but one of the greatest gifts He gives is people who are jewels to you. Those are god sends that God sends to show you how much He loves you, hears you and sees all of you!
